Daylights Fitovers

The TrueDark Daylights Fitovers are the daytime layer of TrueDark's circadian protection system, redesigned for one specific group: people who already wear prescription glasses or readers. The wraparound fitover frame slips comfortably over most standard eyewear, giving you full coverage from above, below and the sides: without forcing you to choose between vision correction and blue-light protection. Like the rest of the Daylights range, these are calibrated for daytime use, when blocking 100% of blue light would actually leave you groggy and unfocused. The yellow lenses filter approximately 75% of the disruptive wavelengths between 380 and 500nm: the ones that come from screens, LED bulbs, fluorescent overheads and other 'junk light' sources, while preserving the beneficial blue light that keeps you alert and supports your natural circadian rhythm. The fitover wraparound frame is engineered to be lightweight despite the larger surface area, with side shields that prevent stray light from entering at the periphery, a common issue with smaller standard frames worn alongside prescription glasses. The acetate frame is durable enough for everyday use, and the frame stays put through long workdays, screen sessions, airport waits and meetings.
