The formula is built around Carbon 60 (C60), a carbon molecule made up of 60 atoms arranged in a spherical, soccer-ball-like shape, also known as buckminsterfullerene. Companion60 Extra Strength contains 1.2mg/ml of fully dissolved Carbon 60 in cold-pressed organic extra virgin olive oil, a 20% higher saturation than the standard Companion60 (1.0mg/ml) and Thrive Whole Pet Health (0.8mg/ml), placing it at the Gold tier of the C360 range.

C360 Health uses LivePet, LLC's patented molecular binding process to produce a stable, potent lipofullerene that is well-tolerated by mammals. The Companion60 formula combines this Carbon 60 enhanced olive oil with three further natural ingredients: serratiopeptidase, a proteolytic enzyme; L-Carnosine, a naturally occurring amino acid; and CoQ10, a co-factor and antioxidant.

Most pets find the taste palatable when added to food; the formula can also be administered with an oral syringe for accurate dosing. As with any supplement, consistency is what produces noticeable results in the long term.
