Presence Eau de Parfum

Alitura Presence is the rare luxury fragrance that earns the word 'clean'. Made with 75% certified organic ingredients and a deliberately spare ingredient list (Certified Organic Alcohol Denat. 40B, Parfum and Water), it is one of the only true Eaux de Parfum on the market formulated without parabens, phthalates, sulphates, aluminium, synthetic dyes, gluten, mineral oil or silicone. Most luxury fragrances rely heavily on synthetic ingredients to achieve longevity and depth; Alitura founder Andy Hnilo set out to prove that a beautiful, complex, lasting fragrance could be created without them.

The scent itself is sensual, unisex and modern. Presence opens with the freshness of cucumber and aloe, accented by a pop of ylang-ylang flower: a generous, slightly floral introduction that distinguishes it from the standard fougère opening of most masculine fragrances and the standard floral-fruity opening of most feminine ones. The heart layer settles into hydrated cedar and green forest notes, grounding the freshness with cool, calming wood. The base notes are warm, smouldering sandalwood and aromatic cardamom, finishing with a soft breeze of tobacco and fine leather: a deep, lingering finish that evolves on the skin throughout the day.

The fragrance has been compared by reviewers to Le Labo's Santal 33: that distinctive sweet-musky sandalwood signature that has become a modern fragrance shorthand for understated, expensive-feeling style. Presence shares some of that DNA, but with the added depth of cardamom, the floral lift of ylang-ylang and the clean-formulation credentials that Le Labo cannot match.

Like the rest of the Alitura range, Presence is bottled in Miron biophotonic glass: sustainably sourced from the Netherlands, the violet glass allows only infrared and violet light to pass through, naturally preserving the fragrance and protecting the delicate aromatic compounds from UV degradation. The bottle itself is beautiful enough to leave on display, and the spray nozzle delivers a fine, even mist with each press.

Presence is intended to be worn daily with the confidence that comes from knowing exactly what you are putting on your skin.
